Literature to Life - Live Performance of Flight

The New York City-based theater company will be presenting a professionally-staged verbatim theatrical adaptation of the novel that includes a 15-minute pre-show interactive discussion, a one-hour performance and a 15-minute post-show interactive discussion. The performance is suitable for persons aged 15 and older.

Smoke Signals, (1998) is an independent film directed by Chris Eyre and with a screenplay by Sherman Alexie. Alexie also authored the short story collection on which the film is based, The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven. It won several awards and accolades, and was well-received at numerous film festivals. It is rated PG-13 for "some intense images" by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America.
Author Sherman Alexie will not be appearing at Cal Poly as part of the PREFACE program.
